Christmas Cocktail Recipes

With the festive season fast approaching we thought we would share 5 must try Christmas cocktails to get you into the holiday spirit!

1.  Gingerbread Martini

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 tsp mixed spice
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup thickened cream
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1 tbsp Baileys Irish cream liqueur
  • Whipped cream, to serve
  • Extra caramel sauce, to serve
  • Small gingerbread men, whole and crushed, to serve


1. Combine caramel sauce, mixed spice and ginger in a small jug.
2. Place ice cubes, cream, caramel mixture, vodka and Baileys in a cocktail shaker. Secure lid. Shake well to combine.
3. Pour into chilled serving glasses. Dollop with whipped cream. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce. Decorate with whole and crushed gingerbread men. Serve.

2. Peppermint Pina Coladas

  • Light corn syrup or honey for rimming glasses 
  • Crushed candy canes or peppermint for rimming glasses
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup cream of coconut
  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup light rum
  • 1/4 cup peppermint schnapps
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine


1. Rim the glasses:  Pour a thin layer of corn syrup (or honey) onto a plate.  Place crushed candy canes on a separate plate and very gently shake to spread evenly.  Dip the rims of glasses into the syrup, then dip into crushed candy canes.

2. Place ice in your blender pitcher.  Pour in cream of coconut, pineapple juice, rum, peppermint schnapps and grenadine.  Cover and blend until smooth.  Add more ice for a thicker consistency, if desired.

3. Pour into prepared rimmed glasses and serve!

3. Reindeer Margarita

  • 57ml tequila
  • 28ml Bailey’s salted caramel
  • ½ cup half and half
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 maraschino cherry


1. In a cocktail glass, add tequila, Bailey’s, half and half, almond milk, and vanilla. Stir.

2. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

3. Add two cinnamon sticks pointing towards each side of glass to look like antlers.

4. Cut a small slit at bottom of cherry to place on rim.
